Description
There are two types of solar tracking system, single axis and dual axis tracking system.
Single-axis solar trackers rotate on one axis moving back and forth in a single direction. Different types of single-axis trackers include horizontal, vertical, tilted, and polar aligned, which rotate as the names imply.
The VE series and the SE series slewing drive are used in single axis solar tracking system.
Dual-axis trackers continually face the sun because they can move in two different directions. Dual-axis tracking is follow the sun vertically and horizontally they help obtain maximum solar energy generation.
Drivers
Use electrical motors, 12vdc or 24vdc, nema, hydraulic motor and AC motor to drive the slewing drives, thus driving the system from one side to another.
